With all that being said, and even though a small shot of ether WITHOUT the glowplugs functioning doesn't hurt them, there is no way in hell I would fool with raising the hood EVERY single morning and shooting it. The addiction thing is a sign of damage like cracked precups, pistons, or bent rods, and if only a small amount of ether is used, it doesn't cause that damage, unless the glowplugs are working. This is the reason I do not believe the "ether addiction" myth. ![]() I sold it running with 339,000 on the clock the engine had no ill effects of repeated use of ether. This was the second 6.2 truck I've had the PO used ether to start, after I fixed the glowplugs, they both cranked fine. When I got the truck, I replaced the glow plugs and put a push button on it and drove it for another 5 years. ![]() I used to have a '84 K10 that the PO started with ether everyday for over 10 years. ![]() I know guys that shoot 6.2's/6.9's/7.3's everyday, and they are fine. I put on the exhaust and cross over pipe today and took it for a drive with the wastegate on a 3psi spring. Will post more pics once finished the 3.5" exhaust and 2.5" cross over pipe There is a little volume located where the wastegate waste gases so that flow can still continue into the turbine (does that make sense). To top it off the manifold is designed to flow gasses as well as possible with smooth bend. The manifold is designed to fit all T4 turbos and the much larger T series turbos(which are quite large). No nasty 90deg bends to impede flow and a 4" exhaust is possible. The exhaust exit is straight then into a 45 deg bend. The wastegate is located in an ideal location so that the gases are wasted equally from the front and rear cylinders (yes its a split pulse design). I've located the turbo low so it doesnt melt the brake booster or bonnet (much like where the BA turbo is located). Although the log manifold may seems simple, it really is in my opinion the best way to go (unless someone can convince me otherwise). I've engineered it all to be as simple as it can be to install. Essentially I am bolting on a high power non intercooled turbo kit onto an otherwise stock falcon and taking the power up in stages to see where it leads to. Graham introduces the guys in the band that is followed by what is listed as guitar solo, it is really a solo by Ritchie and Don Airey that is incredible, they follow each other note for note in a Medieval style that is jovial and upbeat, they then break into the equally upbeat Since You Been Gone. Little does he know that the music of Rainbow needs no translation, the audience clap along with the slow blues, Blackmore responds with a nice and tasty solo, the outro solo is even better, playing a catch me if you can with the rest of the band of which they oblige him stupendously. It’s funny to hear Graham’s intro to Love’s No Friend, he talks very slow, it is his first concert in Japan and is obviously trying his best to communicate. One would expect a bit of rust but the band is extremely well prepared and turns in a relaxed performance for the first night in Japan. Both recordings share virtually the same content and begin with Pomp and Circumstance into Countdown into Dorothy’s Rainbow intro into Eyes Of The World. They wanted to measure the child’s potential to succeed in school rather than measure what the child had already learned. The purpose of the IQ test hasn’t changed much – schools in the US still use it to determine which children are suitable for the gifted program and which ones may need interventions (like a special education class.)īut the original IQ test was not meant to measure reading and writing comprehension.īinet and his partner created questions that would measure problem-solving skills, attention, and memory. Not all children had entered school at the same time, so educators would need a way to determine which kids would need special attention or who was falling behind. At the time, France had just mandated that every child had to attend school. The first version of the IQ test was created in the early 1900s by Alfred Binet, a French psychologist. Let’s start by talking about the history of the IQ test. ![]() There are many different formats of the quiz, from identifying similar images to predicting sequences.
